Himalayan Salt Plates
If you like the idea of grilling and serving on a salt block, but are looking for something smaller and more manageable, you might want to look at Salt plates. They are also referred to as Salt Tiles. They are made from pink salt and are rectangular, but the size tends to be more like 8″ x 4″ x 1″.
When using Salt plates in the oven, for example, you can place two or more of them on a large cookie sheet. - Oven Roasting – Pre-heat your Himalayan salt block in the oven while you are cutting and slicing potatoes (and other veggies) for roasting.
